Heather, born and raised in Bono, Arkansas, received her business degree in Kansas City, Missouri and found her passion in Lakeland as the owner of Glam. She has been in the salon industry for over 15 years. Heather specializes in blonding and hair extensions. She is responsible for some of your favorite looks around Lakeland, especially those blondes. A few of her certifications include Invisible Bead Extensions®, Great Lengths and Habit extension methods. Heather is passionate about leading her team to greatness and empowering young women. She is a mom of 2 boys and a bonus daughter, and married to her biggest supporter. When Heather isn’t at the salon she is spending time making memories with her family or finding new projects around the house.
Charlie

Ms. Charlie is that joyous voice you hear in the evenings at our salon. As one of the original members of the Glam Squad, Charlie is a staple in the salon. A mother herself, she can be found hightailing it around the salon, taking care of business and keeping us all in check as our "den mother". Charlie exudes Glam's motto of "Kindness is Free" and will be the first to offer you a refreshment upon arriving or assisting in finding you the perfect appointment for your busy calendar. When the salon is closed, Charlie enjoys a lot of family time, especially being the ultimate grandmother to her grandson - lollypops for all!

If you've been to Glam, more than likely you've crossed paths with Sam. She can be seen catching up with clients, making everyone feel like a regular. Often seen behind the scenes, Sam was drawn to the salon thru her passion for an artistic outlet. Wearing a lot of hats, Sam uses her creativity to help bring all things Glam to the main screen. You'll catch her taking photos and videos of the amazing work our squad does, showcasing the luxury side of Glam to the world or having fun showcasing our team thru social media and our website. Service wise, Sam fell in love with the art of lashes, having had them herself for over 6 years. She enjoys building a natural set of lashes, especially when a client has felt like they could never have them on their own. When she can catch a free moment, Sam can be found escaping to Georgia or focusing on what matters most: making memories with her two children.

Meet Kathryn, though around Glam she's known as our "Kat"! As the friendly face behind the front desk, Kat is the master of ceremonies at the salon. Whether she's handling your scheduling or keeping you pampered at check in, she's a bright, beautiful energy and a genuine kindness to every single day. Kat enjoys making our clients feel welcomed and makes their needs a priority. When she's not keeping the front going, you can bet Kat is out chasing sunshine. She can always be found exploring the outdoors, hanging with friends around some body of water, or going on the walk of her life with her dog, Whiskey.

Bailey specializes in balayage behind the chair and tackles all things lashes and makeup in her salon space; a true renaissance woman in the industry. Born and raised in Lakeland, Bailey embraces all that comes with Florida living. This being said, she understands the struggle that is Florida hair and dedicates her time with clients to helping them fall in love with their hair again. A lover of all things beauty, Bailey is also one of our leading members of the Bridal Squad. When she's not in the salon, Bailey is found spending quality time with her growing family enjoying the Florida lifestyle.

Move over Floridians, there's a northerner in town! Charles may be new to Glam but not new to the world of hair. With over 5 years in the industry, Charles has found his passion behind the chair. His favorite service is a good old fashion blonding, where his love for the technical skills come into play. In his little corner of the world, he loves welcoming new clients where he gets to not only bring them beautiful hair, but refreshing honesty by always keeping it real. When he clocks out, Charles has definitely been bitten by the Disney bug and enjoys using his pass to go and gather as much magic as he can.

She's a local! Matalyn, affectionately known as Mattie, was born and raised in Lakeland and has always wanted to make a name for herself in this "small" town. She grew up loving all things beauty, working as a freelance makeup artist and spray tan artist for years before realizing it wasn't just for fun - it was a passion. She swiftly listened to her heart and enrolled in cosmetology school where she excelled. Mattie found her home at Glam and started building her clientele from her roots, gifting her clients with the best hair, tan and makeup they could dream of. In her free time, Mattie takes full advantage of living her best life - constantly making the most of every minute with her friends.
Madelyn

One of the youngest in the group, Madelyn (Mads), is by no means green when it comes to the hair world! Mads started cosmetology school right out of high school and turned her love of hair into a full blown career. Mads is a lover of the classic balayage but is constantly searching for the next best thing for her clients, which brought her to the extension world. At the ripe age of 19, Mads was not only an establishes stylist at Glam, she became certified in Invisible Bead Extensions. Her desire to give clients healthy, beautiful hair has continued to fuel her fire and she loves bringing smiles to the faces in her chair. When she's not hands deep in hair, Mads spends her time with family and their herd of St Bernards.

A breath of fresh air in the salon, Lexi is a young, driven and incredibly talented stylist. Always down for a challenge, Lexi is read to welcome any client into her chair with plans to enhance their confidence by check out! Lexi has a love for a dimensional blonde but is already looking to expand her toolkit by constantly focusing on her education. Her favorite part of the job? Reminding her clients how amazing they are, she understands that the hustle and bustle of life can easily make you put your own needs on the back burner. It's her goal to have her clients feeling like rockstars by the time they walk out. Off duty, you'll find Lexi catching rays on the water or catching fish in it.

Constantly enamored by the ever-changing trends, Lorena began her career as a hairstylist 7 years ago and hasn't stopped since. Lorena is inspired daily by the fact that her job is something that can help someone look and feel great about themselves. When asked to choose, Lorena loves creating custom looks with highlights for clients because they are so unique to each person and can be done so many ways. She digs deep with her clients, asking questions to ensure what she is doing, is exactly what they want. Lorena has a passion for discovering new places, so when she happens to not be working, she can be found traveling with her husband and camping under the stars.

A veteran in the hair world, Kara has been tackling your favorite blondes and vivid colors for over a decade. Knowing that every client that sits in her hair has a unique head of hair, Kara takes specific approaches to achieve phenomenal color time and time again, earning her a very trusting and loyal clientele. As a mom of 4, she ensures to make you feel special, understanding that your time is just as valuable as hers. On days off, Kara and her family are constantly making new memories while adventuring around the magical World of Disney and any body of water she can find.

Originally from Puerto Rico, Marivie made the move with her family to Lakeland where she has continued to flourish as a stylist for over a decade. A strong believer that everyone should have their dream hair, Marivie is constantly furthering her expertise through continued education. This dedication to her craft led her to fall in love with the art of hair extensions, becoming fully certified in all methods of extensions, recently receiving her master certification in Invisible Bead Extensions®. Marivie takes pride in helping every client in her chair leave feeling more confident and beautiful than when they arrived. When she's not singing behind your head of hair, Marivie enjoys being a homebody with her husband, girl time with her daughter and soaking in the years with her little boy.

Since she was young, Traile had her sights set on the beauty world with no backup plan necessary. After earning her cosmetology license, she slowly became more and more obsessed with the everyday blonde, eventually making it one of her main specialties. Being a very family oriented person, Traile enjoys making connections with each client and gets satisfaction with giving them a safe space to relax, unwind and trust that their hair is in impeccable hands. As her passion for her work grew, so did her talents. She became an Invisible Bead Extension® artists, going as far as earning the title of Master Technician. Outside of the salon, Traile enjoys life with her husband and daughter, living out their little homestead dream.

A woman who never stops adventuring, Kelly finally stopped in at Glam and started helping us all glow. Originally from Ohio, Kelly and her family moved down to Florida 13 years ago. Once her kids were grown and off on their own, Kelly became enthralled in the care of her skin. This soon became an overwelming urge to help others, later becoming a licensed esthetician. Her favorite thing is helping her clients find the ideal solutions for their skin care and esthetic needs, hearing that they feel good makes her feel good in return. Never one to sit still, Kelly is often traveling when off the clock, enjoying time with her family and grandbabies.
